Launch of WK kidswear!

I am so excited to launch the first WK- where the wild kids are's kids clothing collection this year for SS16. The first collection will include some amazing all over print onesies, baby harems, kids tshirts and a lot more. The brand is a natural progression from my existing brand and is inspired by the blog.
Watch this space as I will be unveiling the products in May this year!

Justin Badenhorst and Noah go 90's grunge!

We shot this story last year for La Petite mag and I never got a chance to put it on the blog. I love 90's fashion so this was a really nice shoot to work on. Ulrica, the stylist, and I had a blast playing with layers and lots of tartan pieces. The 1st image is one on my favourite portraits of Noah, although this was taken only a year ago, he has already changed so much! Thanks once again to Justin Badenhorst for the photography! We make a good team the 3 of us!

Moi AW14... with love from Scandinavia.

Moi is a super cute kidswear brand that caught my eye with their simple designs and cool all over prints. This urban range, ages 0 to 8 years old is also very eco-friendly, from the labels to fabric, this company has thought of it all to make sure all processes will be kind to the earth. Their first collection was introduced in 2013, and I am sure we have plenty more to see from this new kid on the block!

Melanie Rodriguez's " Blue Bird" for Papier Mache.

As I am back writing on WWKA, I have to go back to some of the things that inspired me the most in the kids fashion world.... I know that the first editorial that stood out for me when I came across Papier Mache was a story shot by Melanie. It was so cool to see a kids story shot so beautifully, I am always drawn to the way she uses natural light in her shoots. I also love the moody feel of her images. This particularly story " blue Bird" was shot for Papier Mache issue 8. Her work is still very inspiring!

" We are young" collection from IKKS.

Created in 1987, the IKKS brand embodies the concept of grown up clothes for young people. The French brand likes to shake up trends by putting a rock twist to classic styles. I love this new campaign for the " We are Young" collection for kids 10 t0 18 years old. It is most definitely something that my little dude would wear.

As Europe welcomes Autumn, the SOFT by Soft gallery Collection is launched.

SOFT by Soft Gallery is an addition to the Soft Gallery universe, that consists of soft underwear and sleepwear for babies, boys and girls, with our classic Owl all over print.

These styles will be available throughout the coming seasons as a permanent basic collection.
