... Be inspired by Franky Grow's wild kids...

... Franky Grow is an amazing Japanese kids label... They have a really sweet blog attached to their website and, although I can not read Japanese, I just love browsing through their pictures... I get visually stimulated by their wild colour choices and designs.... This label is like a little piece of sunshine on this very grey morning...

... There's a new wild kids label in town...

... Koolabah was founded in the Winter of 2007/2008 by fashion designer Nina Wolf and her husband Pedro Moreira.... This is the kind of label where each garment feels unique and special... If you think of yourself as adventurous and a little avant garde then this brand is for you... Once again I get very happy to see black in a kids collection!

... A day at the beach with Osamu Yokonami...

... I don't think I could not live near the ocean anymore... Actually there's 2 things I could not live without anymore: the mountain standing outside my window and the ocean on the other side of it... So on this slightly fresh morning, these beautiful images taken by Japanese photographer Osamu Yokonami caught my eye and made me want to jump out of bed and take the mini for a drive the other side of the mountain...

...Achim Lippoth: wild kids fashion is no longer so childish ...

... Kids fashion industry is becoming edgier by the year especially overseas... I love this story shot by Kidswear magazine's creator: Achim Lippoth. Kids fashion is no longer just cute and fluffy... thank god! And I get so inspired by these editorials... I also love this quote from Barbara Hvidt of Soft Gallery which fits these images: "Children's fashion is becoming less childish, more experimental and broad minded... very much like the adult fashion flavor with a need to make a personal statement"...

... Aela Labbe is our favourite wild kids photographer!

... Aela is one very talented and creative photographer... I love her work... I love the moments she captures, the mood, the light... It all comes together in the most beautiful and natural way...The first 4 pictures are from a serie of photos called " Childhood in the Woods" which you can see on her facebook page. You can also go onto her flicker photostream where I found some other beautiful images like the ones of the kids in the bath tab...

...Wild kids are Caramel kids...

... Caramel was created by Eva Karayiannis... I love what she wrote on her website about why she started her label: "I began to want to change peoples's minds about children's wear. They can spend thousands on clothes for themselves, but their children either have to wear mass-produced clothing covered in logos or expensive glitzy things, which are often impractical or anachronistic or both – and none of these is what real childhood is about."... Less is clearly more for Caramel, I love the Candy spot cardigan in the 2nde pic and the Ginger cream dress on this last photo...
