... trick or treat...

... Another great find from Etsy: "Multiple Personnalities" was created by artist Sarah Harvey from Kansas City in the States... I was first drawn to her shop by the " Trick or Treat" illustration and had to find out more about Sarah. I love what she wrote on her profile about herself: " I have to create in order to stay sane. Although sometimes I'm not so sure it helps. Everything inspires me including the hundreds of vinyl and plastic toys I collect. I'm always trying new things because if I sit still for too long I'll go crazy." I'm sure most creative people can relate to this...

She also has a great website called " Ink and Wit" where you can find all sorts of goodies such as wrapping paper, postcards and fabulous stationnery:

... be inspired by the really cool kids out there...

... Here are some of my favourites looks taken from the street of Europe, mainly Paris, by Milk magazine... There are some serious stylish kids out there and it is so inspiring to see these little cool kids expressing themselves through fashion the same way adults do... My ultimate favourite of this bunch is the little girl in the white blazer, the skinny jeans and the pink pumps! That is too cool for school...

... "Puppen" by Achim Lippoth...

... I found this great serie of photos last night, they belong to an exhibition of one of my favourite photographer Achim Lippoth. The exhibition in Milan was called " Puppen"... I love the fact he doesn't see kids photography in a childish and commercial way... There is always something dark and edgy about the way he photographs kids and I always like to keep an eye on his up and coming projects...

... where the wild kids are goes floral... for a minute...

... I completely step out my comfort zone here, lots of florals and patterns and no black or dark colours in sight... But I can see the charm of this American label called Oilily... Maybe I would have just added a pair of Doc Martins or Converse with one of the little dresses just to add an edge... But as it is officially summer overseas in a few days and the days are long and wonderful, I guess a touch of floral and pink won't hurt...

... Beautiful and whimsical fabric decals @ Love mae...

... I love these mornings when I fall upon something unique like these decals... Not like any other decals out there Love mae, an Australian label, has created the first fabric decals which are reusable... The soft colours and sweet patterns will bring charm and quirkyness to your kids room and, the fabrics and designs created by Love mae give these decals a really cool vintage feel which I love!
