... Justin and I shot some new pics for my own label Petit pois... I brought out some of my favourite rocking prints for the shoot, going back to my love of music and some of my favourite bands like Blondie and Joy division. I remember when Noah was born I couldn't wait to bring him out the hospital in his Sex Pistols babygrow. Our little model for this shoot Sadie was amazing, she just chilled through the whole process...

... No this isn't a phone application of some sort but the produce of Justin and his plastic camera Diana. This is still the story of Indio shot through the lens of Diana and the results are amazing, you just can't beat old school!

... Mina Perhonen...

... Minä Perhonen is a Japanese Fashion house which was founded by Akira Minagawa. 'Minä' means 'I' in Finnish and 'Perhonen' stands for butterfly. This amazing label has many facets. It contain clothes, textiles and furniture, all with the characteristic embroidery, patterns and quilting. You have to go onto his website and see the most beautiful fabric. Akira has  started a children's line this year and I can't wait to get my hands on more pics of his a/w collection for 2011.

... I ♥ local talent : the story of Indio...

... I am so happy to be sharing this editorial with you. It was shot in Salt river in Cape Town by photographer Justin Badenhorst and stylist Candice Lee Robinson :  a very creative and talented twosome to watch out for! The pics were taken inside an artist's studio and we have to thank Paul Edmunds for lending us the space for the afternoon... Indio, our model is a beautiful child inside and out... She was so amazing to work with, full of energy and so enthusiastic! When working with such great energy the pictures had to be absolutely beautiful! Great work everyone... I LOVE this shoot!!!!
