The beautiful work of Melanie Rodriguez
If you are a fan of Papier Mache like I am, you would have noticed this french photographer's name. Melanie Rodriguez's work is always super beautiful, I love her style, she mostly shoots on film, hence the dreamy and nostalgic feeling to her images. These images are taken from her blog, her more personal work, the little girl in these photos is her daughter Aela.
That's it, better get onto it and do an interview. She has definitely got me wanting to know more about her!
You should really follow her blog: http://melanie-rodriguez.blogspot.com

It's Christmas in April when Papier Mache arrives!
It is just too exciting to receive Papier Mache's printed issues all the way from Australia. I'm just like a child receiving a Christmas present. I ran in my room, locked myself in, and didn't speak to anyone until I was finished! And I must admit that as much as I love online magazines, there is nothing like holding a printed mag! Papier Mache has some of the most amazing editorials, it is so inspiring to see kids fashion and photography done in such a creative and beautiful way.
Do yourself a favour and subscribe to this fabulous mag!

classic Italian kids fashion: Minimu.
I have just discovered this Italian brand Minimu. It has a very simple and elegant aesthetic to it, exactly what you would expect from an Italian brand. The colours are very soft and muted, which really suits this spring collection. I especially love the big polka dots! It is a classic range for kids age 0 to 10, but you will find that Minimu's Spring collection caters more for girls than for boys. But still worth a visit:

Inspiring decor ideas with Fern Living
Fern Living is an amazing company from Denmark that designs and manufactures amazing interior products.Their collection for kids is very inspiring: I love the bean bags in the owl and elephant shapes! And although wallpaper stickers seem to have been done in all colours and shapes recently, I really like the designs they have made especially the birdcage and the stars. Their range is surprisingly extended as it also includes wallpapers and beddings with some really cool graphics.
You can get some fabulous ideas to decorate your kids rooms!

I also fell in love with the Prussian Tutu in this collection (last pic), how beautiful is it? I would buy it just to hang on my wall! If you have a little girl in your life this brand will really inspire you.

for the love of vintage
If you fancy a bit of vintage shopping online, I have selected 2 of my favourite vintage shops on Etsy.
The first one is called Vintage Jane, owned by true flea-market junkie Stacey from Reading in Pennsylvania. She has a great eye for amazing little vintage dresses, I completely love the plitted knitted dress in the first picture, if I had a little girl I would have bought it for sure!
The other shop that I have found and love is called Disco Divas Vintage. The little rompers on that shop are to die for, especially this last one with the little yellow ducks, too cute!!!
Have fun shopping:

New Generals is a fantastic line of kids basics from Denmark. New Generals is all about being ethical, innovative and cool at the same time, something they have called "ethicool". Their Spring Summer 2012 collection is very edgy with lots of black and quirky detailing, high cuffed leggings and amazing graphics. And I love this campaign, this is a very inspiring brand!

Take-G, the coolest wooden toys!
Take-G are probably the most amazing wooden toys I have ever seen. Take-G's creator is called Takeji ( hence the name) Nakagawa. His toys are all made using an ancient Japanese craft called Yosegi-Mokuzougan, or joined wooden block construction, where combinations of original and unique colors and textures of different
kinds of wood are utilized to express artistic patterns. Takeji is particularly found of making his wooden robots. Robots representing the future are usually made of metal, and Takeji really wanted to rethink this idea by using wood and in that way, wanted to include nature as part of our future.
