Our editorial for Issue 8 of La Petite, out now!

Here is the editorial we did for Issue 8 of La Petite mag which came out today, shot by Justin Badenhorst. I love this story, and I love our star Indio who modelled for us. She was so amazing, it was a very windy day out in the dunes of Atlantis, we were all getting sand blasted but Indio was a real pro and managed to work through it all! Thank you to our amazing team: stylist Ulrica Knutsdotter, and make up artist Monique Gazzilli. Beautiful images guys!!!!

Some really cool DIY ideas

Ok I must admit that I am not a DIY kind of person, but if I was. I would be super keen for this website. This french website, called Petit Poulou, is a full of little treasures. I love their DIY section, the little clouds mobiles are amazing and the felt ice creams and sweeties look like a fun thing to be doing with your kids on the weekend!

A Is For Apple and for amazing!

A Is For Apple is a children's clothing line designed for fashion forward kids ages 0 to 5 years old. This brand is eco-friendly and uses only natural and organic materials. A Is For Apple's designer/ creative director is Denise Ho, a Honk-Kong based celebrity and stylist. This Spring/Summer 2012 collection is colourful and fun with splashes of lemon, mandarin and fuschia. The grey jumpsuit is just too cute for words. Ok maybe that little girl is just too adorable and I would just love anything that she wears!

sweet Honeycup

I found this sweet Honeycup on Etsy. This illustrator is from Melbourne, Australia. I am having a fox fixation at the moment, so suddenly I am seeing fox prints all over the place. And her print of the little deer girl with the red fox is really cute. So there you go! Foxes are rocking my world this month!

The lovely Atsuyo et Akiko

Here are some of the newest designs from NY based label Atsuyo et Akiko. Founded in 2007 by Atsuyo Yang and Akiko Mukae, this super creative brand includes kids clothing ( like the very cool Eiffel Tower cardigans, my favourite of course) , home decor, bags, accessories and other lovely things to really inspire you. I am especially fond of this collection this week as I got given an Eiffel Tower metal sculpture by my little dude today for an early mother's day present.

some of my favourite looks from Caramel Baby & Child SS12

Caramel Baby & Child is a children's clothing range based in London, designed by the owner Eva Karayiannis. I have always loved this brand, the Spring Summer collection for this year is really nice. The lines are simple and classic, it reminds me of a french saying " BCBG": Bon Chic Bon Genre. I have chosen some of my favourite looks for the blog, love the skinny fit of the denims! No surprise there! And the little girl in the caramel cardigan and floral top is so beautiful and precious!

The revival of vintage patterns with Oliver + S

Oliver + S was launched in 2008 by creator and designer Liesl Gibson. Her fashion background is quite impressive as she worked for high profile brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren. But it's after having her daughter in 2005 that she started making patterns first for her and her friends, and now for the world. I love the vintage feel of her brand, it is perfectly suited for this range of products. If you enjoy a spot of sewing then you will go mad for Oliver + S's patterns and sewing tips!
