Infants of Velazquez

I am known for being attracted to things that are unusual, dark and quirky. This is why this story " Infants of Velazquez" captured me, and it is so wonderful to know these images were created here in South Africa by photographer Marguerite Oelofse, stylist Nicky Van Eck Zolezzi, and make up artist Diane Bessesen. Nicky, I love the Victorian inspired pieces, absolutely beautiful!

La Petite mag's new issue came out a the beginning of the month, and so was this beautiful series of images taken of my little dude Noah. The photographer is the very talented Justin Badenhorst. I love these pictures. I know it is my son, and the photographer is my husband, so yes I am completely and utterly bias but still, this is one of my favourite shoot taken by Justin.

Petit Pois KIDS A/W 13 collection

 

With a new year comes my new collection! Yay so happy it is finished, here are a few images from a quick shoot we did before sending all the samples to my new distributor in Japan. So this collection will be available all over Japan very soon. Will keep you posted on the dates of the tradeshow. While working on this range, I have fallen in love with the beautiful illustrations the artists created for me ( huge thank you to Keisha Milsom and Simon Lee), and mustard is my new favourite colour!!! a beautiful editorial shot for Papier Mache.

I woke up this morning and downloaded the 2012 digital Year Book from Papier Mache which is such a treat! It is a lovely way to share with us again some of the magazine's best images of the year. Here is one story I really love shot by Delphine Jouandeau. These images are the perfect example of less is more, I love the simplicity of it.
